SGT (Join to see) Full disclosure. I don't recall enlistment bonus' when I got my draft notice in '66 either. Guess, like some art, we appreciated in value by re-enlistment time. :-))

CWO4 Terrence Clark - I started to ask you if it was "enlistment" or "re-upping"... but decided to let that dog lie... just happy to make it back. $10,000.00 was a lot of $$$ back then... I paid $13,500.00 for my first house.

Whoa! That sounded like a lot. Then I ran the $10,000 we got in '68 - '69 (tax free in zone) through an inflation calculator. Our $10K would be $83,217.96 today. OK, #letsgobrandon, cough up another $23,217.96. Take it out of your illegal alien and Taliban petty cash box.
