This seems to hinge on the singular issue of allowing non-citizens to vote, but these non-citizens can't vote in federal elections, so this proposal isn't solving any new issues.

A lot of these proposals also seem to want to limit access to the polls/registration.

The importance of local voting and the results driving federal elections is how we arrived at this high crime socialist paradise.

While I'm against having feds control local elections, I'm not averse to discussion of remedies.. How do these proposals limit access to registration/poll access for U.S?

CWO4 Terrence Clark “...but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations,..." 'By Law', a very important condition. It used to mean a 2/3 vote of the members. It is now 60 votes of 100. Manchin and Sinema kept it from becoming a simple majority, thanks you two.
Chief, as You stated in your preamble, it is a series of provoking proposals. It is not however what is written into the “Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act”, this we know by having read some of what's in the act. I like a lot of what Anony Mee posited, but the ruling Dems would never let laws of this nature get through Congress. They want nothing less than total control of the country with a socialist from of Government, an "Equal share of the misery"(Churchill paraphrased). The States should retain control of their Elections, Congress has to ensure that invalid votes are not counted in Federal elections, up to and including negation of votes from precincts that let non-citzen voting occur. Even if only 1 illegal vote can be proven. If folks find out that their vote doesn't count because of irregularities within their precinct, I believe that they would handle it locally.

That bad giving Government control over the election, and as a voter stand firm of what the election was setup to give the people a voice over Government not Government control over the people. As we see in the last election the fraud and miss management of how the vote were counted and not validated with the registration of voters. I have lost faith 8n the system that has work so well for a long time and tampering with the voting laws has failed the people of the United States of America
