Putin agrees to talks with Germany, France and Ukraine instead of NATO

Looks like Putin is playing chess while Joe is asleep at the checkers board. Putin will get the Ukraine as a neutral country and the Nord Stream pipe line will guarantee no German intervention and keep NATO fractured. I am betting part of the agreement will include Russian access to sea ports etc.

Ukraine isn’t a member of NATO. There’s really no reason to address them. Besides this, NATO seems split on how to deal with the Russia-Ukraine situation, especially with France and Germany wanting oil and natural gas from Russia.
