9 officers hurt, 1 woman dead in shooting 'ambush' near 51st Avenue and Broadway

A violent criminal, Morris Richard Jones III, killed his girlfriend in Phoeniz. When police arrived, Jones ambushed the first officer who responded and shot or injured 8 other police officers.
Jones was previously in prison for using a firearm during a drug related crime.
