They wanted it we surrendered it and Biden is the coward that gave it to them. Now it may hurt some good people but piss on the Taliban. Do not give them anything the people will not get anything only the Taliban will reap anything and share nothing with the people of Afghanistan.

I agree with you. I feel for the true believers that joined us to make a better world and are now being hunted down and killed.

1.) The man next to Mike Pompeo in a November 2020 photo “is the guy the Trump administration helped get out of jail in 2018 and who is now the 'president' of Afghanistan."

2.) Trump Denies Releasing 5,000 Taliban Prisoners — But His Administration Negotiated For Their Release

“Former President Donald Trump on Monday blamed the “inept Afghan government” for releasing 5,000 Taliban prisoners last year, even though the Trump administration called for prisoner swaps in an agreement with the Taliban.”

3.) Fact-check: Did Trump free 5,000 Taliban prisoners during his term?

BY MIRIAM VALVERDE, POLITIFACT.COM | AUSTIN AMERICAN-STATESMAN | 10:42 am CDT September 1, 2021

“Mitt Romney: The Trump administration worked to free 5,000 Taliban prisoners.

PolitiFact's ruling: True
Here's why: Sen. Mitt Romney blamed both the Trump and Biden administrations for the chaotic events that swept Afghanistan after the Taliban took over the country.

A terrorist attack at the Kabul international airport killed more than 100 people, including 13 U.S. service members, as the U.S. military worked to evacuate Americans and Afghans.”

4.) Did Trump Admin Get Taliban Leader Out of Pakistani Prison?

Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar is a key public figure for the Taliban in Afghanistan.

* Nur Ibrahim
* Published 18 August 2021

Claim

In 2018, Trump helped Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar get released from prison, in 2020 then-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo met with him, and in 2021 Baradar was set to become the new “president” of Afghanistan under Taliban rule.

What's True

A.) Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar was released from prison in 2018 by Pakistani officials after pressure from the U.S. government under the Trump administration. A photograph accurately shows that he met with then-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in September 2020 to launch peace talks.

B.) What's Undetermined

The Taliban has not announced its current government or the role Baradar will play in it yet.

The way of the Left: Find one grain of truth that you can take out of context to try to salvage some face. The bottom line: BHO surrendered a Country that swelled into a terrorist hot bed larger than most states that we had to go back into and take with our blood. President Biden surrendered a Country where our Countrymen and Allies are still being hunted down to this day. God help you for trying to hide the blood on their hands. MHO’s

1st I served
2nd I wasn’t and still not happy about the pull out. It was disrespectful and disgusting.

3.) G.W. Bush and war hungry put us there based on a lie.

I didn’t try to hide anything, perhaps if you ACTUALLY read the articles and not just get triggered by a different viewpoint/articles/whole overall view of the situation, maybe your response woulda been different … or maybe not.

All including the current administration has unnecessary blood on their hands.
