I remember when history showed the US only went to war cause 1. We were attacked, 2. An ally was attacked and we had a mutual defense agreement, and 3. US politicians were so arrogant to spread American Imperialism. Nowadays it feels like we desire conflict to justify bloated defense contracts budgets.
