Great share SFC (Join to see) I tend to agree with all of them but would have blended 5 & 6, Expectation without hard work does not come to anything. I did get a boatload of crap for dealing with #11 as the commissioner for a youth sports league where they wanted to give out awards for basically putting on a uniform. Held out for awards based on measured achievements through the season, was thanked by some parents and vilified by others but believe it or not the kids liked it.

I give you credit for trying to salvage No. 5 with No. 6 but sometimes no matter how hard you try you can't make the impossible happen. I know what you're trying to say although. God Bless you! I couldn't be a youth sports commissioner these days with parents the way they are. I used to be an umpire back in the 90's, that was tough enough. :)

Wonderful thoughts and very true. I had an acquaintance that worked for a large “ turn around” company. When a factory needed to be “rebuilt” this company went in and helped shut down, rebuild and start up again. During summers he would get his son hired. There was a lot grunt work. On the first day my acquaintance told his kid, “ don’t let down, you see the fellow over at the grinder cleaning parts? He is the owner of the company!”

Yes. 99% are dead on, and what our young need to learn, heck some of our old also. :)
