I remember many of those. We've come a long way, for sure.

We were in it from the beginning brother! It seems to me we had greater control over what we did on the old systems, these days its rocket science.

SFC (Join to see) - I learned on DOS systems, then on early Windows 1.0. I learned spreadsheets on Lotus 123 and word processing on WordPerfect. The one thing knowing these old programs, especially Lotus, is I can manipulate the newer programs far more easily. If I can't find the right combo of buttons in Excel, I can still long form the formula to make it do what I want.

SFC (Join to see) - Yes, that is one of the nice features of Excel, they still give the option of writing exactly what we want. I started using big time between DOS and 1.0 so there is a lot in DOS I don't know.

I remember most of these. Learned programming with basic, fortran and cobal. This background came in handy in early 80s testing out flood search programming.
