They already allow Sikh Soldiers to have long hair, beards, wear turbans, carry religious dagger in uniform, so I don't think it would be an issue. Any religious accommodation can be suspended at any time for safety reasons.

SSG(P) (Join to see) I know seeks who don't have beers and turbans and I'm sure those who do Would shave their beards if they had to put on a pro mask Since they are talking about possible chemical weapons used by Russia in Western Europe.

LTC (Join to see) - The whole "Can't get a seal on a pro mask with a beard" is bulls**t sir. I have a religious accommodation as a Norse Pagan to have a beard, and I know the Sikh officer who was the first Sikh to be able to have a beard in uniform, and both of us can get a proper seal on our pro-mask no problem. The entire "Seal Issue with Beards" is the Army's scapegoat for not wanting to allow men to have beards, but females can. If you don't believe me, look up in AR 670-1. Nowhere in the regulation does it forbid females from having facial hair...only males (with the exception of mustaches and religious accommodations.
