When Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) asked Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, during Jackson’s U.S. Supreme Court confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, to define the word “woman,” she got the response “I can’t.”
When Blackburn responded with an incredulous “You can’t?” Jackson replied: “Not in this context. I’m not a biologist.” It takes a biologist to define a woman? Does Jackson think we’re morons?
She’s a progressive, and progressives have been redefining language—English and many others—to fit their purposes dating back to the Spanish Civil War and undoubtedly earlier.
Jackson bloody well knows what a woman is. The nominee has known this all her life, as we all have. But these days, in her part of the political world, she’s not supposed to.
So, she lied.

Bit of trivia, the first SCOTUS justices were all white Christian men and there were no confirmation hearings, they were simply appointed on merit. It wasn't until a white Jewish man was nominated that the Senate decided they needed to look at qualifications. SCOTUS confirmation hearings have been on a downhill slide ever since.

Hmm. Can’t define “woman”. Has a high percentage of her past rulings overturned. Supports and teaches CRT, but is dishonest about it, like she knows that something is amiss there but can’t define it.
I’m a broken up old guy who can sometimes be prone to anger, but I can answer the questions she can’t.
And, she had to pass a color test before she was nominated by the most racist President in my lifetime.
