The Russians have done this before, in the Katyn forest, in World War II. They (the NKVD) executed about 22K Polish officers and cadets with the approval of the USSR Politburo.

Capt Gregory Prickett: They've done this in lots of other places where they have invaded since WWII...Chechnya, Syria, Afghanistan, etc. It's their MO. Make sure to terrorize the civilian population with rape, pillage, plunder, execution of civilians, etc. This is how they win the hearts and minds of those they wish to conquer. There are no words for their depravity of humanity.
