This worries me, and it should worry everyone else, as well.
I've never been comfortable with the notion that a professor's "academic freedom" somehow grants them almost unlimited power as regards their materials, what they teach, and how they teach it. Even worse, in this case, it's being utilized to literally police students' speech.
The universities have been going off the rails for a long time, but we are getting close to a tipping point at which they finally fall into a pit of radical indoctrination, totalitarian speech codes, and a complete disconnect from reality.

What do they want to call them? Are they gonna call the males burrito and the females taco? Seriously I think of the SNL cheerleader skit when I think of this crap. "Taco...Burrito...who's that wearing that speedo?"
This Woke crap has gone too far. Last I checked he can't forbid anyone from saying anything especially in a non attribution educational environment.
