Yup, so now they will put ethanol in the gas tanks and drive up the cost of grain, meat and dairy

I've read several analysis to the effect that the cost of producing ethanol, including subsidies, exceeds cost of petroleum saved. Further, the "carbon footprint" of the logistics chain from fertilizer production (corn is a very heavy feeder) to farm equipt., through distilling, is larger than the "carbon footprint" of the replaced petroleum.

I haven't received a tax refund in decades. I plan ahead to avoid giving the government an interest free loan
