Whether Disney should have been granted a special tax district is a different discussion, the question is whether the government can punish a speaker for disagreeing with the government.

The thing that some of these "experts" avoid is that States such as California and New York have been passing laws for years that penalize companies that have expressed opposition to liberal political issues such as abortion, religion, LGBTQ, etc.
Liberals have been pushing strategies of laws, regulations, sanctions, boycotts, and more to accomplish their goals.
Why was there no outrage from liberals for this? Instead, they demanded it. Its what they wanted. What they don't want is for a State to push back.

In this case, Disney had Benefits that most Companies in Florida don't enjoy. They had total control over an area, the ability to raise taxes, etc. An exemption from some taxes. That benefit has lasted over 50 years and was due to be reviewed at some time.
Florida just leveled the playing field for them and made them the same as most other companies.

In the end, there will likely be threats of lawsuits with some type of compromise. I believe the repercussion will be far more for Disney than for Florida.
