I don't think he is a politician, so he doesn't speak for any political party. He is making fun of the former president; it was funny, and accurate.

Unfortunately, I see quite a number of posts using material from comedians/late night show hosts/SNL on RP used for political attacks.
The comedian's job is to entertain. Most have no background in politics and basically, they are giving an opinion that only has weight by virtue of them being on TV.
Most of them, I don't find funny or entertaining. Their opinion is just that.
It does nothing to encourage dialog and it does not educate.
As for Trump, he isn't President. He hasn't been President for over a year.
It is sad that liberals are so desperate to distract from the disaster called the Joe Biden Presidential admin that they have to talk about Trump all the time in a bid to keep their followers from realizing just how bad Biden is doing.
As for Liberal. You gave the definition, but not an accurate description based on our current climate.
Liberal-Close minded. Desires safe spaces and tolerates only speech that they approve of. Otherwise, they want it censored. Unwilling to hear other points of view, willing to riot and attack conservative speakers and followers. Known to attack anyone wearing hats or clothing with messages that they oppose. Supports bans on books that they find offensive such as Huckleberry Finn and To Kill a Mockingbird, tries to erase history by destroying or hiding Confederate, Christopher Columbus, Washington, and Teddy Roosevelt Statutes, and change names of streets, schools, military bases of any names that may offend someone.
Liberal-Supports Socialism and some forms of Marxism. Supports Autocratic type governments if their politics align with liberal. Willing to riot and attempt to change government policies by use of force or intimidation, to pack courts, to do away with the filibuster to assume full control of the Senate, and to enact voting laws that put into place procedures that liberals desire, prohibit procedures that Conservatives desire, restrict Conservative States from changing voting laws without DOJ approval, and more in order to ensure Democrat continued rule.

SFC (Join to see) Since Vaughn Meader making fun of current and past presidents has been great comedy whether left or right. Those who can't grasp that concept need to get a life.
