It’s very common for new Marines to cry when they receive their Eagle, Globe and Anchor. It’s a transformative moment and it is happening after 54 hours of being in the Crucible. To say you are mentally and physically drained is an understatement. Plus you aren’t fully there mentally. You are moving on will power at that point and your tail is dragging.

I agree the kid seems a little soft but honestly we don’t know his MOS path. Not all servicemembers are stone cold killers. We need supply folks and admin too and those cats aren’t generally snake eaters.

The video isn’t a good look though.
