Being a Drill Sergeant is very STRESSFUL. I know when I went through Basic at Ft Dix, NJ, some of the trainees were a pain! That was then, NOWADAYS you have to worry about how to approach someone; what you say or what you do. Everything has to be politically correct!
It’s no wonder that Drill Sergeant may have had one drink too many. He should have asked for a ride home; but hindsight is 20/20. Everyone deserves a second chance. If you think being a Drill Sergeant is tough, try being a 3rd grade teacher!
I remember when I finished Basic, I said to myself: “If I could get through Basic Training at Fort Dix, in the middle of winter, I can do ANYTHING!!”

Oh no! I didn’t read the entire title of this article. (I thought this was just about a DUI). I take back what I said; if this Sergeant is involved in an underage prostitution sting, yes, he should be fired!! [I am so embarrassed! SORRY!

@SFC Thomas Livingston - Everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty. If found guilty he needs to be thrown out of the military. We don't need someone like this in the service of our country giving us a black eye.
