A cautionary tale about “ green energy”. I have a friend who is an engineer for a power company. He integrated the Fort Benning and Fort Gordon solar plants/grids into the power companies system. His comment is solar is unreliable. Green peace provided funds and set up a solar system for a village in India. 8 years later the solar panels are being used as a cattle shed. Cost of battery replacement and lack of maintenance aided by unreliability destroyed the system.
