I'm tired of politics, aren't you? Sadly, it's especially important to those who serve, the ones who have to clean up political mistakes. Inasmuch as those who are on active duty are foresworn to avoid political comment, it falls on us, those who have completed our service, to speak on their behalf.

Even sadder, the news and entertainment media keep shoving it down our throats defending the man they promoted to the office of President of the U.S. I'm speaking, of course, of U.S. news and entertainment media. Our allies aren't so inclined.

That would be true if the person reading the teleprompter is competent to repeat what he is reading.

Unfortunately for the US we have someone in the office as the leader of the free world that can't even pull together full sentences, gets things confused and apologizes for talking too much so he doesn't get in trouble. If you are the President you need to be cognizant of what is going on around you and the world and darn sure don't need to apologize for your words...you are the President and you should be able to tell others what to say. He does not and I am afraid we have lost most of our standing in this world as a superpower because of him...we are the laughing stock (Rodney Dangerfield) of the world. All you have to do is watch foreign news sources and you can see it.
