This is a law that is either un-Constitutional or unnecessary. The people still have the right of peaceable assembly. They do not have (and have never had) the right of trespass.

If they are trespassing, we already have laws for that. If they are violent, we already have laws for that. If they are not trespassing and peaceable, then they have CONTITUTIONALLY GUARANTEED rights to assemble, and to speak.

Rights aren't rights if they can only be exercised where and when the government approves.

I think one of the biggest threats to our Republic is full-time politicians. Just because you are in a legislative body does not mean you always need to be writing new laws. If crowds are restricting residents from movements and coming and going about their daily business then this should be address with current and existing statues without restricting any freedom of speech. I am right there with you on this one.

I agree with this, Some will try to make this out to be right wing fascism, but I will point out that the Mayor of Seattle sang a different tune when the mob showed up outside her home. CHAZ was shut down less then 24 hours after that, and a security detail removed the protestors from outside her residence. Same with Lori Lightfoot.
