MY SAY: On Memorial Day we honor the service of veterans who are no longer with us. Does it say on the tombstone how they died? Should it matter?

MAJ Montgomery Granger All deaths don't occur on the battlefield but can still be battlefield related. Suicide from PTSD has taken a lot of lives of both active duty and Veterans from us earlier than they should have. R.I.P. Brother Adam Lambert. Semper Fi. I don't believe the cause of death should be listed on the tombstone.

MAJ Ken Landgren - A lot of my students I had last summer stayed with me all year (by request). I am currently working up a new program for the 2022 - 2023 school year to be implemented this fall similar to this last semester to help my student be more successful in their mathematical studies. I'm pretty sure administration will go along with it based on the success of this past semester.
Without going into all the details, all students who were in a Tennessee public school the previous year have a projection of how they will score on their End of Course exams the following year. If a student is projected to be in the 81st percentile and they score in the 81st percentile they have a year's growth but not advanced in their standing overall. If the score comes in below (I had a few that lost) they didn't get their years growth. I did the math, and my students scored an average of 10.77 points over projection which indicates a substantial gain on their part, in other words, more than a year's growth.
Teachers are rated on this data.
