It's pointless symbolism... It's like an exorcism ritual they think will cast the demons out of the building... Whatever . They need to pay to build something thing on top of it. City loses more money over wasted virtue signalling.

To answer your question, NO. If they do, they might as well raze every freaking hospital, home, mall, outhouse, henhouse..... in the US. Because at some point someone died and it just might "trigger" others. On another point, Brandon does not have the authority to do anything with the school. It is up to the State and school district.

Thanks for the comment. I agree with you. I can't think of a reason to raze a building other than when it might be used as a symbol for an evil/bad organization/person. Never underestimate our current Progressive Marxist Democrats (and some Republicans), they really believe they can but their way out of any difficulty. I suppose that's why they butchered withdrawing from Afghanistan so bad. They don't know how to enforce an agreement and realize when an agreement is broken it is voided out. While Brandon doesn't have the authority to raze the building, I am sure he will be only too happy to give them the money to raze it if he can find any takers.

First Biden doesn't have the authority to raze that building, now if the local school district wishes to do so and has the backing of the local people than let be so.

Basically. A quick fix like razing a building will give both sides of the Left what they want: the Left on the local scene can say, Look I took this reminder away from you! President Biden can say, Look I made this happen. They will try to make political hay out of it.
In reality the act of razing a building never takes the reminder/memory away. It let the Left yell: We understand and took care of you!!! When nothing can be further from the truth.
