To a degree you are right. There are many conflicts of interest regulations and laws on the books, they need to be enforced. I currently see they as an Equal Justice Under the Law issue. Democrats are holding investigations looking for a charge to make against anyone they don't like. The NY DA ran his election on a platform of specifically investigating Trump in an attempt to make civil matters criminal. These are flagrant abuses power and need to accused and prosecuted.

The problem is many of our judges are intent not on judging the law as written but advancing their personal agenda.
