Winsome Sears to Biden: 'stop gaslighting' Americans on gas prices, 'begging' Saudis for oil

(7/2022) Virginia's Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earle-Sears is challenging President Biden to "stop gaslighting" Americans on a series of issues ranging from the deadly Afghanistan withdrawal to rising gas prices. About the gas shortage, Lt.Gov. Sears said, “(To) the president, I would say, open up our own fields so that we can grow, so that we will not be dependent on anyone. We were a net producer before you were president. We can be that again. It is your policies that have gotten us here. Inflation is not temporary, as you finally acknowledge. And stop gaslighting us. We know the truth. We're paying for it every day."
