White House denies double standard as officials take victory lap on sinking gasoline prices

"Officials say the drop is the result of Biden's decision to tap the Strategic Petroleum Reserve and engage U.S. allies to pump more oil." - We would not have to had tap into anything nor ask allies to pump more oil if it was not for his failed policies. We have plenty of oil here in the US.

Another point is just because the price goes down (for now) the prices on everything else will remain the same, simply due to his failed policies. Only when prices on everything start to come down and the stock market goes back up, that would be "victory".
