A bit of economic news from abroad that offers a different perspective on inflation. Odd that Joe Biden isn’t mentioned as cause for Ireland’s inflation. Also strange when compared to America, these lads didn’t blame their Taoiseach Micheál Martin (Prime Minister) for inflation.

I noticed lots of small stores when I was there...what brings prices down is volume.

Don't worry. I'm sure blaming Biden for inflation around the world is on their to-do list.

If something has been consistently different from other nations for a long time, it tells me that is their place in the market and/or they are doing something wrong. Irland is small and I don't know what it contributes to the global economy. Maybe they are just doing the best they can with the resources they have or maybe they are being mismanaged.
Another quote: "Insurance costs are high due to excessive awards by judges and our compensation culture" makes me believe their nation progressed enough toward Socialism and/or Communism to where most non-government people live in poverty. That has happened in almost all Socialist nations, some to the point of collapse and Rebelion. Venezuela is a prime example.
