Every politician wipes data clean after leaving office. I guess it is because it isn't relevant any longer or they are just done with it. All sides do this.

I guess politicians play by different rules than the rest of us civil servants. If I reset my computer and phone to factory conditions before I turned them in when I retired, I would have my head handed to me and no pension.
