Republicans blocked the bill out of spite. Jon Stewart shamed them and it went viral. Bill got passed.

It’s interesting that during the blocking of this bill none of the reasons came out. Our lefty friends said it was because republicans hate vets, a ridiculous assertion. I’m sure they’ll reconsider. LOL
They caved into pressure because midterms are in November. That's it. They do hate veterans, they do not care about military members or veterans and the have consistently shown that for years they don't care.
The only thing that changed from when they first voted on the bill to when they changed their votes was Manchin and the reconciliation bill. They changed their votes to "no" out of spite and then fist bumped each other for it.
But sure put party over everything else. Smh.
