Public Relationships? The Progressive Democrats trying to justify their overreach. They have overused their authority in the current DOJ and FBI Organizations and now look to greatly expand the IRS that they have used in past years to attack political enemies through this increased budget. These people are truly dangerous.

The Bush administration placed a hiring freeze on the IRS in 2008. The Obama administration kept that in place from 09- when he entered office until he left in 2017. Trump finally gave the agency funding to begin hiring in fiscal year 2018. Those funds didn't begin to hit until the end of that year. When you have an agency that is bair bones such as the IRS with a sole mission of collecting revenue you have a husk. No one likes paying taxes to any government okay. Be it the town/ city treasury. The county revenue or the state revenue. Even if you were to abolish this agency another will take it's place still collecting the same taxes and still enforcing the same policies. You will still be penalized, leined, abated, force into collect regardless if it's a private debt collector or a federal one. No matter what a government will always collect it's revenue.

No one’s looking to most agency, what are you talking about? People feared being used as a political weapon the word has since BHO took office. That’s what is about. Fear of abuse that everyone saw in the open against political enemies.

SFC (Join to see) I said no one likes paying taxes period. No one likes any tax collector period. Regardless if a revenue agency/ operation is public or private it can and will be weaponized against a select group of people. Those who oversee a private institution can target who they wish behind closed doors and a public institution can do it depending on whose making the calls. It's wrong but it happens. That's why I said regardless of who is collecting taxes and regardless of what level they can weaponize it. The only group the Obama administration targeted openly was the un-insured with that stupid individual mandate that I'm happy Trump did away with.
