It won’t he’s just like Lindsay graham. He does this kind of BS then during election years he’s all about his state and they end up rigging the primary so that he won’t lose and then the other candidate is too far left or right to be voted for. Happened for years when I lived in SC.

Manchin sold out his state and the coal industry most likely sold a ton of stock in the coal industry and bought green stocks prior to the bill passing. His wife got a sweet gig out of it too. As usual follow the money.

Manchin appears to have acquiesced for a reason. We will never know if it was campaign funding, or one of his family was going to be offed. In any case, the Green New Deal was passed and China backed off Taiwan.
I like Solar power. I would like to see houses in the south have roofs that glean energy from the Sun as we normally bake in hell for the Summer. But, Green energy is not ready for prime time and taking the US off fossil fuels too fast will cause issues.
The price tag of this bill will not help decrease the money supply. Which is one reason we have such high inflation since Sleepy got in the White House. The fact the FED went along with this increase in money supply is surprising to me.

We have solar panels on tons of houses here in central texas. I looked into it. By the time you actually pay the panels off and start actually getting back to net zero for cost of panels Vs power generated it’s about time for a new roof so then you have to pay to have them removed and a new roof installed and then the panels reinstalled.

Now the solar companies are loving the rentals from the solar panels, the huge tax credits they get from uncle sugar, and duping idiots by telling them how much money they will save on their energy bills and being green customers.

Yep the people making money off of solar right now are the companies duping home owners into placing the solar panels on their roofs with promises of big energy savings, the electric companies for getting cheap solar power pumped into their grids, and the companies that build the solar panels which unfortunately means the “don’t mess with Texas” crowd with solar panels are really just sending money to China.

It’s the latest Ponzi scheme. 1SG Russell S.
