AFSOC Commander Lt. Gen. Jim Slife ordered the safety standdown on Tuesday in the wake of two safety incidents that had occurred over the past six weeks, with a total of four such events occurring since 2017, AFSOC said.

Safety standdowns are nothing new but with this aircraft they deserve attention. Heck when I was in the B-1 we couldnt participate in Desert Stotm because the fleet was grounded. Production of the CV- 22 was delayed and nearly stopped during its development so as it ages its realistic to assume issues will emerge, and be dealt with.
