The reality is than a more complete and unbiased history is not being taught. Minorities of all kinds and the historic contributions of they is not even present in the textbooks that are even printed. You would think that the the teacher would present a more of a holistic approach and tactics of real clear of factual content. Again, this is a symptoms of what out students are out of touch with our nation's history and values that we were founded on!

The emerging contributions of Women is surely lacking. We would have not won World War Twi and others if women had not come in to industry to do jobs that was previously done by men.

God Bless you for mentioning this, and it is the Gospel Truth. Our Country’s rich history is very diverse. Years ago, I read several articles that explained racist German influence on our education over time that basically sanitized our taught history of most minority contributions; while I mention this, I am not making excuses for the leadership back in the day that omitted all the minority contributions. I tried to find these articles this morning but couldn’t. If these articles were true, I don’t know but I believe with the well documented contributions minorities have made in our history we can certainly say it was racist that these people were not included.
What I can’t understand is why, we as a Country, aren’t correcting these transgressions against these people and our truthful history. I just don’t know what to think.

Women's and minority's contributions to American history somehow vanish from the national...
The standard narrative of American history is a kind of onwards and upwards story of vanquishing enemies, conquering nature and becoming the best country ever. The usual stars in the epic are white folks of the male persuasion, rugged individualists...
