Let's see - thousands of children (probably more) abused by clergy over decades upon decades vs 0 abused by drag queens...yet certain people are more upset that kids are getting books read to them by drag queens but no issue sending them to church or around clergy alone.

Yes, some clergy have taken advantage of their position and preyed on children. And many churches have helped cover up their crimes, the Catholic church most notoriously and egregiously.
No argument from me on that. None at all.
But not all clergy. Not even most clergy.
Doctors have taken advantage of their position to prey on children. Teachers have. Police have. Judges have. We don't label the entirety of those professions as predators. Why should we label (or accept your labeling) the entire profession of clergy as predators?
Now, as to the actual comparison at hand. Let's look at the ROLE of the clergy. What is their purpose? Their function? If they do their job right, how do they earn their keep? Compare that to the role of a drag queen.
That is why most people have no problem leaving a child with a clergy member, but have a problem with leaving them with drag queens.
