One of the very few ways Franchisees can have an influence on their bottom line is through the cost is manpower. Corp sets prices and normally almost all supply costs so there us very little wiggle room.

This is going to impact the fast food market and its workers
The jobs that are in fast food are not geared for workers who have families to feed
Typically those jobs are filled by students because of the hours that is required to staff them. Other workers in other states within Mc Donald will probably posture to increase their pay elsewhere. I don't blame Mc Donald's for closings in California
Locally In my state Mc Donald's pays $10.00 an.hour.
