Washington creates problems and then exacerbates them by trying to fix them. It raised the cost of education by giving students unlimited funds to buy an education (and the colleges built amenities to attract students). Now they want US to pay off their debts. It raised the cost of health care by creating Medicare for the elderly. (Look at the rise of health care costs before and after Medicare) Now they raise it even more with the laughingly named "Affordable Healthcare Act". "Free insurance" for the indigent paid for by US. I could go on but this song says it best: "Put your progress where the sun don't shine..."
