How long before cadets and midshipmen will be forced to change their last names because of a similarity of name to, or descent from someone who served the Confederacy?

One of the first steps authoritarian regimes take is to reset history. Did our Southern brethren not receive presidential pardons? Did they not swear allegiance anew? Did any of those violate their renewed allegiance? Were they not granted suffrage? More likely, Democrats are trying to expunge their embrace of KKK, Jim Crow laws, African-Americans not allowed in unions, their record (timewise) filibuster against the 1964 Civil Rights Act, their support of the present President who makes racially offensive, derogatory remarks about minorities almost weekly, and then close relationship the present President and Hillary Clinton maintained with noted KKK leader and senator, Robert Byrd.

CWO4 Terrence Clark - Actually, I agree with you. I vigorously with the movement to erase our history. I lack the opportunity to check my RP feed more that a couple times per day. If you will read back in my discussions you will realize I was being sardonic.

So, they don't want to remove the Confederate stuff to "erase history" but they want to remove the stuff to educate "future generations?" Typical double-speak that means they want to erase the left's past in creating those institutions.

Hatred and Vindictiveness maintained over Centuries is part of the glue that binds Liberals together. Forgiving people and apologizing are two acts that are also extremely rare on the Liberal side of the fence.

SPC Erich Guenther - It's much easier to the left to judge actions based on today, as opposed to putting any kind of thought into the way things were 100 and 200 years ago.
They just want people to forget the left's part in all of it.
