During my brief cadet career at West Point, 1.5 yrs (1960-62) followed by Army Reserves,... 1st year cadets who did not replace their chairs in the mess hall tables at dismissal were ordered by the uppers to grasp said chair and quickly slide it in and out multiple times whilst shouting "EMBATTERY HEAVE".
