MY SAY: What, no mention of the victims of 9/11? No photos of the jumpers? Towers in flames? Lives lost & broken? The #CouncilOnForeignRelations is UN-American. #Gitmo is the finest military detention facility on earth. It is a small piece to the big puzzle of how we win the Global War on Terror. 742 detainees RELEASED, NONE beheaded, executed, blown up, hacked to death, dragged naked and lifeless through the streets, drowned or burned alive. All things our enemies have done to us and/or our allies. There is no moral comparison between Gitmo and how our enemies treat their captives. #GWOT #NineEleven

Why be shocked at that? Remember, in the eyes of the world, detainees are just the victims of George Bush's war on muslims. The victims of 9/11 have just been a statistic since Camp X-ray's doors were opened in 2002.

When you say "our," do you mean the military? Because the military had little or nothing to do with the Alphabet Soup Secret Squirrel Shadow Warrior Spooks who interrogated Gitmo detainees using Enhanced Interrogation Techniques, which were legal and approved at the time. The allegations of systemic abuse and torture are not and should not be directed at the military. We did our duty, and are doing our duty, with excellence and pride. Gitmo is the finest military detention facility on earth.
