Not clear as yet. Not specifically the caffeine as decaf was shown to have the same properties in most cardiac situations. There are dozens of phytonutrients in coffee so take your pick.

Drinking two to three cups of coffee a day linked to a longer life
Drinking two to three cups of coffee a day could be linked to a longer lifes. Research suggests that when compared to avoiding coffee it was also associated with lower risk of cardiovascular disease. Researchers suggested coffee consumption should be considered part of a healthy lifestyle.

The research found that participants who drank two to three cups of coffee saw the largest risk reductions in comparison to non-coffee drinkers. For example, ground coffee in this amount lowered the risk of death by 27%, followed by 14% for decaffeinated and 11% for instant, the European Society of Cardiology noted."
I've started eating real butter on my popcorn and eating eggs... also plenty of salt. :-)
