It will be interesting to see what develops.
It's somewhat of a surprise to see the soviets suffer losses and lack the grit in fighting the Ukraines. China may step in should the Soviets not prevail. I dont see North Korea getting involved!

It appears they sent their first line troops in initially. They made serious errors in sending them in while the ground was too soft, which gave the Ukrainians a huge terrain advantage. IT also seems that they seriously underestimated the resolve of the Ukrainians thus spreading themselves too thin. I'm not sure anyone expected the level of effectiveness of even basic drones on the battlefield. Those who survived the initial few weeks seem to have been thoroughly demoralized. The troops that reinforced them seem poorly trained and the captured equipment in terrible condition. I would guess the only reasons many of the guns captured still function is the fact that they are AKs.
