Let's see. The post office has its own police force as do other agencies and these so called bureaucrats are actually LEO's.

True. The US Postal Inspectors have always been agents, but they haven't always been armed. Irrespective, I believe postal inspectors should be armed for self-defense. However, if they are expecting significant armed resistance then Homeland Security, the US Marshal's Service, or another fully trained federal officer/agent, should be involved.
