This is why we do not issue a commitment to do away with a new technology when you haven't considered the implications. Insisting on 100% EVs is trading one environmental concern for another. Except for the fact that it really isn't since we are still dependent on natural gas/oil to maintain the production and consistency of energy in general and to power these EVs. This is nothing more than a scam to increase the profits of the EV industry and nothing to do with renewable/green initiatives.

100% correct sir. Giving your and my money (tax dollars) to special interests. They try to make it sound noble. It just doesn't work.

We do have to look at the supply chain of everything in USA. COVID did teach us some lessons.

You are absolutely right! We have to look at supply chains… that is the raw materials, industrial plans, and labor that go into manufacturing products we need, in that order. For many years our government allowed foreign interests (China) to buy mineral right up in the US and now it's actively happening in South America. I personally believe we need to revoke foreign ownership of property and mineral rights in our Country for national security reasons. China is taking over Brazil right now, we need to stop it!!!

The failures over the years of our elected officials and wrong government actions highlighted above demonstrate how they failed our security needs. There are enough examples for both Democrats and Republicans to be ashamed. The answer now is not to destroy our Country’s environment, it is to correct these past failures I speak about. Plain and simple. Take quick immediate action or we will suffer the consequences. MHO's
