She went out with a guy friend she knew from college. He became a music teacher. Teaches elementary school orchestra. She simple went to a fair with him. The attack happened at his apartment. Just platonic friends.

It took her a year before she could tell me. When she finally explained it I puked and became diaphoretic. Thought I pass out. She kept every text every comment. He evidently got scared and kept texting her to see what she’d do. She won’t me or my hubby a police officer to do or say anything. We have kept her promise but had the drs examine her health. She went into suicidal ideation and had to be hospitalized after trying to hang herself.

After three years of her living at home and under my protection she is finally ready to finish her Masters in Elementary Ed and special Ed.

To this day thoughts go through my head to settle the score but that is not in the realm of possibility. What I do instead is contact his school superintendent and share the gruesome details. I understand they can’t officially fire him without a police report and trial. HOWEVER. They hear the experience and evidence. I plead with them to watch him like a hawk. Implement rules about teachers left alone with children and adult women. He did show unusual interest in vulnerable kids.

He now teaches PRIVATE LESSONS to CHILDREN!

Anyways, when this situation came up again today I shared this song with my daughter. The rage just poured out of my abdomen and helped release so much fury.

Thank you to everyone who contributed. It is the only way to release my rage.

I know Phil said this song was not from any experience he had. But I have my doubts only those who have witnessed such violations to someone they care about could tap into it.
