There are two situations to look at here. Thank God this women was strong enough the get away from an abusive situation. The military knows the numbers involved in cases like this, it is only a matter of if they want to compile them. They need to do so and make things better.
The positive part of the story is 98.9% of married military are on a better situation. I always like to find a positive if I can.
