I haven’t seen the Blue Angels perform since they flew the A-4. However, a few years ago I would get to see them fly by when I was in Gulf Shores, AL. I do want to see the full performance again.

Lt Col Charlie Brown I have seen the Thunderbirds plenty of times. Whenever the AF base I was stationed at had an open house, the hospital squadron had to be on site.

Get to see them fairly often. They alternate years with the Thunderbirds at the MacDill open house and our development tends to be a downwind join-up area.

I saw a 1 hour special on TV featuring the Blue Angels. I have seen them perform at many air shows and never knew that the pilots don't wear G-suits. They take short breaths of air and release it a little at a time to keep from blacking out. Those are some tough cats right there.
