I periodically would tell senior leadership that network security would be so much easier if we could just get rid of the users.

SGT (Join to see) - I can appreciate trying to make training fun but to my thinking this is a bit overboard. Not enough bang for the buck, basically it costs too much in time and that is a real cost. I realize that doesn’t answer your question, I just needed to make a statement about the costliness of this.

To my thinking this fun approach to learning about computer security will not work because of personalities. A dedicated employee will take the time to learn these lessons from common and economical training provided. While the colors and whistles to this training may for a time capture the attention of the training challenged individuals, I believe over time their interest will diminish until they tune out this training just as they would the regular variety. I would like to see the actual numbers of non-facility people and if their interest did subside, besides some other potential issues, but I won’t get off into the weeds.
