SFC (Join to see) Thanks for the share. The problem with private schools is they don't want to deal with discipline issues, so they boot the student out if they are a problem. In public schools we have no choice. If parents get to choose and a private school accepts them they should have to keep them for at least the duration of that school year. My opinion for what it's worth.

Great point. Private schools much be different these days than the Catholic grade school I went to. The Penguins didn’t let anyone go, they required obedience and ensured everyone complied or you spent your time after school and you parents had to come and pick you up. Sometimes that was the worst part. The funny part about it is I had a good time there.

PO1 Jeff Chandler - But we do have to keep them. It almost takes an act of congress to get a student expelled these days. And the students has an IEP (individualized education plan) or 504 (health plan) it is damn near impossible.

PO1 Jeff Chandler - You ain't kidding there. Anything the government gets its hands on somehow ends up getting screwed up.

One has more control over curriculum and discipline in a Private School. Locally, at least 40 percent of the public school teachers chose to send their children to private schools.
