Because they are fighting for freedom and liberty from Russian control. They were attacked and invaded by a hostile neighbor. I know many people only pay lip service to the value of freedom, liberty, and self-determination, but some of those that wear the uniform actually believe in those ideals. Where do you think this nation would be had we not been helped with our own independence back in 1775? So when opportunity offers a chance to assist a strategic ally against a regional adversary, I say take it.

But, by all means, Neville, please tell us why not, beyond the loss of what you view as your money.
