I would think they would design around the expected weather (there's a thought) conditions Probably hot and dry, very sunny climate areas are the best places of choice. The could put solar-powered charging terminals in the Sahara, Gobi or Atacama, Salar de Uyuni, Peruvian Coastal, Arabian and American Southwest.
Of course they would have to be hybrids - because no desert land is 100% haboob-free.

The e cars that were in flooded areas have afterward started to self destruct from the batteries becoming wet. And not dried out/ the water had seeped into the battery casing. Even just in park, the flare up and start to catch fire.

That's scary, the videos I've seen of EVs that caught fire were pretty frightening.

MSgt Dale Johnson much like the closing of mental Hospitals and sending the consumers into the streets because of no system was fully in place to take on the recovery portion of our treatment, the EV's have many bugs to work out and also no recharging stations have been set up to handle the oncoming demand. No local stations set up to handle the numbers of EV's that even California has set as a mandate to bring full conversion by 2030 for the State.
Can you imagine the headaches that are coming for those citizens. Especially now that Newsome has " asked the owners of the EV's not charge the cars on certain days.
No infrastructure to handle the demand for charging. No infrastructure to be able to repair them. No infrastructure to even be able to handle home charging... and the US government wants to convert to all electric in the near future??!!!
The known population of the US is 300+ million people -illegals not added in, . Let's say the known population numbers able to drive is 200+ million people. With those numbers, at least //3 needing a vehicle to get to work daily, the demand has even now outpaced the system to handle recharging them. What will the future of EV owners look like??!!
