The commanding officer of SEAL Team 1 was found dead in his San Diego County home Monday, Navy officials announced Wednesday. Cmdr. Robert Ramirez III was 47. Capt. David Abernathy, commander of Naval Special Warfare Group 1, which manages all San Diego-based Navy SEAL teams, offered his condolences to Ramirez's family.
